Why this matters

Door knocking still works, but only if you lead with news, not a sales pitch. A just-sold opener gives the neighbor a reason to listen.

How to use this

Write the script as real dialog at the door.
Use this layout:
- OPENER (3 to 4 lines, [PAUSE] after)
- VALUE LINE explaining what the sale means for their home value (2 lines, [PAUSE])
- LEAVE-BEHIND HANDOFF (1 to 2 lines offering the comp sheet)
- EXIT (1 line, no pressure)

Then 2 FOLLOW-UP LINES if the neighbor engages:
- If they ask "How much is my home worth?"
- If they say "We are thinking about selling in a year or two"

RULES
- Never open with "Are you thinking of selling?"
- Lead with the just-sold news
- Sentences under 15 words
- Active voice
- Reading grade 3 to 4
- Calm tone, no high pressure

BANNED PHRASES
- "Are you thinking of selling", "got a minute", "leverage", "unlock", "transform", "hot market"
- No em dashes, no en dashes, no bold
